Warm Intro ("we", "us") runs a community app for making thoughtful introductions and sharing gatherings. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have. We collect as little as we can and never sell your data.

What we collect

Account & contact info — your Apple ID (used to sign you in) and your name. With Sign in with Apple, we receive Apple's private relay email unless you choose to share your real one. If you add a phone number, it is used to keep the community trusted.
Your profile — the bio, photo, role, interests, and availability you add.
Imported social info — only if you choose to connect X or LinkedIn, and only after you grant explicit in-app consent. We use it to help draft your profile. You can disconnect a source at any time.
Things you post — asks & offers, RSVPs, and messages in an introduction.
Basic technical data — needed to keep the service secure and working (e.g. a device push token if you enable notifications).

How we use it

To run the core experience: introductions, events, and the community board.
To introduce you to relevant members — your identity stays hidden from a match until you both accept.
To send you notifications you've opted into.
To keep the community safe (reviewing reports, enforcing blocks).

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Who can see your information

Your profile is visible to other members of your community. You can hide individual fields.
A potential match cannot see your name or photo until you both say yes.
Private feedback you leave after an intro is never shown to the other person.
We never sell your personal data or share it for advertising.

We use Supabase (database, authentication, and serverless functions) as our hosting provider to operate the service on our behalf.

Your choices and rights

Edit or hide any profile field at any time.
Pause or turn off introductions whenever you like — no penalty.
Disconnect a linked social source.
Export your data or delete your account from within the app; deleting your account removes your profile and personal content.

Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal content; limited records may be retained where required for safety or legal reasons.

Children

Warm Intro is not directed to anyone under 17 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We'll update this page and the "last updated" date when this policy changes.
